Instructions for First Visit
- You will have to take appointment for your child at whichever hospital/clinic you want to visit.
- At Tanishka Polyclinic, Dr. Apoorva Kulkarni is generally always available at the specified timings (unless he is busy in an emergency surgery). There might be 10-15 minutes waiting period.
- At MRR Children’s hospital in Thane, Dr. Apoorva Kulkarni is currently available from Monday to Saturday between 9am to 1:30pm.
- Please ensure that at least one of the parents accompany the child to the clinic, so that accurate history and hassle free examination of the patient is possible.
- After taking history for few minutes as required, doctor will examine your child. You might have to undress your child to expose the affected body part.
- After examining the child, doctor will explain in detail regarding the nature of your child’s condition and if he/she requires any surgical treatment.
- If your child requires any prescription medicines, doctor will prescribe them. If he/she requires any investigations to be done, he will advise them.
- After consultation is done, doctor will inform you regarding any follow up visits if required. If any surgery is to be scheduled, it will be done after reviewing relevant investigations at follow up visit.
- On your way out, payment has to be done at the receptionist counter. Please ensure you give your contact number and patient details to the receptionist for easy scheduling of follow up visit.
